Hi Harrison, thanks for mentioning my plugin! While you're on PHP4, you could try my other last.fm plugin "Run For Cover". Let me know if this works for you.

Yes, same here using K2 r703.
I assume that the new WordPress 2.6 code does not allow the K2 theme to disable the widget function within the theme code? So a separate external plugin id needed.
Similar to the first disable widget plugin written for WordPress 2.2 and K2 r316, approximately.

Weirdly enough, I had to move k2-disable-widgets.php to the plugins directory in order to make things work. I didn't need to do that in RC5.

Thanks.
Since upgrading to the full release version of WordPress 2.6 and using the current nightly version of K2 r703 with the disable-widgets plugin everything appears to be working correctly.

I did not find (from above link)

"To fix the error:
navigate to your K2 folder -> app -> includes
edit the file widgets-removal.php as below"

But your new nightly K2 RC6 r695 works well with WordPress release version 2.6

The K2 forums state the only minor issue is you can not delete modules and that you can drag module to "disabled" to prevent from showing. See my new post from July 15th.

Thanks for the help.
